The Cairngorm Cycling Club is run by and for cycling enthusiasts in Strathspey and Badenoch of all ages and abilities. The Club holds rides and races all year. Club members ride/race both on and off road and no distinction is made between road and MTB riders. All cyclists are welcome. The start sheets will appear here as soon as I am able to get them!  REMEMBER we now have a women's road race on the Sunday afternoon as well as the APR - The Sally Anne Low Memorial.  

Race Weekend 2013

Saturday started wet and unappealing but by 10 the rain had STOPPED so, apart from dodging puddles on the hill climb, riders stayed dry for both events.  The wet roads were still a bit slow and the head wind for the last stretch to the hill climb finish meant everyone worked hard for their times.  Good effort!

On Sunday, the weather gods were definitely with us and we had it bright and dry all day.  The Kingussie railway station's 150th birthday celebrations meant that area of Kingussie was busy but all the cyclists were well warned and rode safely through the village.  Great racing, both morning and afternoon, with a few "personal bests" recorded in the time trial and a very exciting finish to the APR. It looked like brilliant fun!

Race Weekend 2012

A huge support for all four races and plenty of good banter in between made this a very successful weekend in 2012. All the events had a record number of entries and it was a great mixture of seasoned pros and first-timers.  The Highland weather? It was DRY and SUNNY!  A big thanks from Cairngorm CC to all the riders and helpers.  Results below.

Club Membership 2013

Fees remain at £10 for full members, £5 for under-18s and £25 for a family of up to 2 adults and any number of children.  Fees are due now for membership for 2013
